I guess I knew when I first saw you that it would not take too long to fall in love.
And then I knew when I first held you in my arms
That it would not take too long till we were one

And then I moved in close to you, I felt you give yourself to me, what could I do?
I touched your hair, you kissed my eyes
Then all at once I felt my heart rise up inside
I felt like air, I heard you breathe
I knew that what I needed most was there with me, You.

There was the time before the time I found you,
When who you were was still a mystery.
Then all at once you turned and stood before me
Suddenly I knew what is, must be.
