| The
Gift

I have a gift, a gift of a dream of rivers that run Into a sea where lovers
have love that can't be undone Rest your head upon my shoulder and breathe
a sigh Feel a breeze caress your spirit, now close your eyes (and your) High
on a hill, beneath a tree of yellow and gold It has a door for those who believe
we never grow old There's a letter left for you and it reads in part Have
no fear; we've all come here, to help heal your heart (now your) Caught
by a wind, lifted then spin, into the sky Eagle and hawk, join you to talk,
of days now gone by (saying) Leave your wounds and worries down on the earth
below Spread your wings, expand your world, then you'll come to know (that
your) Blessed
with the grace, that fills every space, you need it to fill. Made up of light,
replacing the night, that feeds on your will You've just begun, to reach for
the sun and the stars will shine Into your heart, where this dream might start
with this gift of mine. (for) I
have a gift, a gift of a dream of rivers that run Into a sea where lovers have
love that can't be undone Rest your head upon my shoulder and breathe a sigh Feel
a breeze caress your spirit, now close your eyes ©2003
